Experience overview
After graduating in Accounting and Audit from Narxoz University in Almaty in 1992, I have gained over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. In leadership roles as finance manager, controller and director, I have supported companies across Europe and the CIS region. Initial situation at the client

The subsidiary was tasked with recording the fixed assets of an acquired company located in Kazakhstan on its balance sheet and determining as well as facilitating their further use. Following the disposal process, the subsidiary is scheduled to be closed.

Initial situation at the client

he company’s Russian subsidiary suspended its operations after the outbreak of the war in order to comply with EU sanctions. However, a full closure was not possible, as certain fixed assets could not be disposed of due to Russian counter-sanctions. In this situation, I took over as director of the subsidiary and have since been managing it in close coordination with the head office.
