My name is Stephan Jorra. As an interim executive and project manager, I am happy to take on the role of plant manager, managing director, COO or head of a task force or important special projects.
I combine the best of both worlds: sound technical expertise as a graduate engineer in development and extensive experience in operations. I can provide a neutral view from the outside. This can quickly provide new impetus and pave the way for new solutions. Coordinated and with a clear direction, we work on rapid implementation and ensure a course for success.

In the course of the energy transition, the order backlog has increased considerably, leading to longer delivery times. The objective is to ensure that the promised delivery dates are met, while at the same time increasing productivity and strategically focussing on growth.
Involving the workforce and the works council is of particular importance, as the plant has undergone restructuring in recent years.

As part of the competitiveness in the international production network, the aim was to bring the plant into a secure double-digit EBIT range. In addition, the plant is to be expanded as a global supplier of climate-neutral switchgear in the future. To this end, products are to be relocated to foreign sites. In addition to complete products, the plant is to be set up as a "feeder plant" for vacuum interrupters.

Despite major orders, the plant had a double-digit loss. The entire business unit was at the "bottom end" of the Group and was on the "watch list". A master plan had to be implemented to increase earnings, of which the plant was a part. The challenge consisted of a turnaround with a strategic reorganisation of the product portfolio.

As part of the competitiveness programme, the appliance disassembly line was converted into an almost fully automated Industry 4.0-capable production line. The project covered the entire spectrum from conceptualisation and implementation to training and supporting the workforce in the transformation to a digital factory.
